As a Director of Lacuna Search, Kelly plays a key role in steering the company’s strategy, while leading each stage of her search campaigns from discovery to onboarding.
Over a decade working in the Professional Search industry, Kelly has established a well-known reputation for high-quality strategic placements, built on an intimate knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
Driven by the pride she has in her profession and a sense of purpose that goes beyond simply placing candidates, Kelly understands implicitly how her role impacts organisations, and people’s lives.
Kelly sees her role as a trusted advisor, developing long-term relationships with her clients and candidates, and working with them to provide strategic search and career support.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management, Management Consulting & Industrial Relations) from the University of Western Australia. Since 2016 she has held the Sponsorship Manager committee position for the WA Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA).
Kelly enjoys the opportunity to meet a wide range of people, and her true sense of fulfilment comes from seeking challenges, expanding her knowledge and travelling the world—Whether it be her time climbing to Mount Everest Base Camp, trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, cycling from Vietnam to Angkor Wat, snowboarding in Andorra or exploring the Amalfi Coast.
Kyle Giddins
As a Director of Lacuna Search, Kyle has built a reputation that has seen him become the preferred search partner for oil, mining, energy and private equity companies throughout the Asia Pacific region. Prior to founding the business in 2014, Kyle began his career as a mechanical & electrical engineer, followed by working for a multinational marketing organisation in the UK and global recruitment company.
Finding quality talent or quality career opportunities is never easy, particularly when considering the complex and ever-changing challenges pervasive in today’s energy and resources industry. Kyle has been instrumental in accelerating the company’s growth trajectory by designing Lacuna Search’s unique and rigorous search methodology which has allowed Lacuna to navigate these challenges.
Kyle’s focus is to build a search firm he is proud to be a part of—and Lacuna Search is the result of this passionate ambition.
Kyle has lived and worked in the Middle East, the UK, and now enjoys the beaches and outstanding golf courses that Perth, Western Australia has to offer.
